O R D E R

% 09.01.2017 Petitioner no. 2 is wife of petitioner no.1 and sister-in-law of respondent no.2.

Disputes between the brothers, i.e., petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 had led to registration of present FIR 464/16 under Sections 420/467/468/471/506/120-B IPC against the petitioners at police station Bhalaswa Dairy, on the complaint of respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Kunwar Singh of police station Bhalaswa Dairy. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue pressure, force or coercion. He further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the

same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that disputes between the family members have been settled amicably and respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR 464/16 under Sections 420/467/468/471/506/120-B IPC registered at police station Bhalaswa Dairy and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
