This hearing is being conducted through hybrid mode. CM APPL. 12117/2024 (for withdrawal of appeal) 2.

This application has been moved on behalf of the appellant for withdrawal of the present appeal.

Learned counsel for the appellant/Insurance Company submits that as per instructions received, he may be allowed to withdraw the present appeal.

At the same time, it appears that this Court vide order dated 29.07.2015 had directed the appellant/Insurance Company to deposit the entire amount of compensation with accrued interest with the Registrar General of this Court and the said order has been complied with. 50% of the amount of the compensation with interest has already been released to the claimants/beneficiaries. The remaining amount lying with the Registrar General of this Court be also released to the claimants with the accrued interest forthwith. The statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- deposited for filing of the present appeal be refunded to the appellant/Insurance Company. 6.

Accordingly, the present appeal is allowed to be dismissed as withdrawn.
