W.P.(CRL) 159/2017 At the relevant time, petitioner and respondent no.2 were working in the same office. On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR 577/15 under Sections 354-D IPC was registered against the petitioner at police station Anand Vihar. Being old colleagues petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Pushpa of police station Anand Vihar.
Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter of her own and without any undue pressure, force or coercion. She further submits that she has pardoned the petitioner and does not wish to pursue the FIR any further. In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 more so, respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR 577/15 under Sections 354-D IPC registered at police station Anand Vihar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Writ petition is disposed of.
