% 05.02.2018 Despite pass over, none is present on behalf of the petitioner. A perusal of the writ petition shows that the main grievance of the petitioner was for issuance of directions to the respondents to give admission to the petitioner in the course of B.Tech or B.Arch in IIT/ISM against the seats laying vacant after completion of the last counselling on 21.07.2017.

In view of the fact that it is now February 2018 and the academic session is already mid-way, it appears that the petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the writ petition. In view of the above, the petition is dismissed in default and for non-prosecution.
