The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner from jail seeking parole for a period of three months on the ground of finding suitable match for himself as well as for maintaining social ties. 2.

Perusal of the nominal roll of the petitioner reveals that in column No.16 i.e. jail conduct in the last one year and column No.21 i.e. overall jail conduct, it is mentioned as 'Unsatisfactory' being punished on 21.03.2014. Further in column No.18 i.e. report of misconduct (if any) during interim bail/parole/furlough, it is mentioned that he has jumped the parole from 02.11.2013 to 08.12.2013.

On the last date of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner was asked as to whether the petitioner has been re-arrested after he jumped the W.P.(CRL) 1499/2015

parole or he himself has surrendered before the jail authorities, for which learned counsel for the petitioner sought time to obtain instructions from the petitioner through video conferencing.

Today learned APP for the State has informed that after the petitioner jumped the parole, he was re-arrested and sent to judicial custody. 5.

Taking into consideration the previous conduct of the petitioner as reflected in the nominal roll and that he jumped the parole, the prayer for grant of parole is rejected.

Writ petition is dismissed.

The petitioner be informed through the concerned Jail Superintendent about the orders passed.
