% 31.05.2017 C.M. Nos. 21821-22/2017 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

C.M. No.21820/2017 For the reasons stated in the application, the delay in filing the petition is condoned. The application stands disposed of. W.P.(C) 5101/2017 The petitioner has assailed the order dated 02.05.2016 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi (the Tribunal) in O.A. No. 834/2015. By the impugned order, the tribunal has allowed the said O.A. preferred by respondent no.1.

In our view, the conduct of the petitioner has been shocking and it is equally shocking that the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition. However, since learned counsel for the petitioner has today stated that he is withdrawing the writ petition on account of the fact that respondent No.1 has since joined on deputation in the Ministry of Defence as Joint Secretary and, therefore, the petitioner is not pressing the writ petition, we refrain from saying anything more.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
