The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that respondent nos.1 & 2 be directed to stop the misuse of the basement and ground floor of the property bearing no.24b/3 Desh Bandhu Gupta Road, Near MCD Office, Karol Bagh Zone.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the basement and ground floor of the property in question is being used as a godown and the same is causing grave inconvenience to the petitioner who resides on the first and second floor of the aforesaid property in question. 3.

The only controversy involved in the present petition is whether the premises (basement and ground floor) are being misused or not.

Mr Arora, learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 states at the outset, that the said respondent's officers shall inspect the premises and if any unauthorized use is found, the respondents shall take necessary steps in accordance with law.
