% 16.03.2017 Even though steps have not been taken, respondent No.2 is present in Court. He is identified by the IO, who is present in Court. Status report has been tendered in Court and taken on record. It is disclosed that the charge-sheet already stands filed in the case. Respondent No.2/ complainant/ victim received simple but sharp injuries. The petitioners, who are present in Court state that they regret their

conduct and they are willing to atone for the same. Both of them are young students and they have been cautioned to mend their conduct in future. In view of the aforesaid since the complainant also joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom and the petitioners are ready & willing to atone for their conduct, the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom, including the charge-sheet, stand quashed subject to each of the petitioners depositing Rs.10,000/- in the Prime Minister's National Relief Funds within two weeks. The receipts of the said deposit be provided to the IO, only whereafter the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom, including the charge-sheet, shall be quashed.
