Respondent nos.2 and 4 are person in person.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 15.10.2018 It is submitted that FIR No. 619/2011 under Sections 288/336/337/34 IPC was registered at police station Uttam Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2.
In the incident, respondent no.4-Vikas had sustained simple injuries.
Respondent nos. 2 and 4 are present in Court and have been identified by ASI Devender Kumar of police station Uttam Nagar. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners and respondent no. 3 of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, inasmuch as, petitioners have compensated injured-respondent no. 4 by paying him `10,000/-.
They have no objection in case aforesaid FIR and the consequent
proceedings are quashed against the petitioners and respondent no. 3. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the respondent nos.2 and 4 and petitioners voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
Dasti.
