1. It is stated by Mr. Gautam Narayan, learned Additional Standing Counsel, on instructions, that the Department of Value Added Tax is withdrawing an erroneous 'adjustment order' passed yesterday i.e., 2nd May, 2017. He assures that the refund amount payable together with interest thereon will be paid directly into the Petitioner's account not later than two weeks from today. If there is any non-compliance with this order, it will be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.

2. The petition is disposed of.
