O R D E R

% 22.08.2017 This is a petition under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.254/2015, under Sections 354/509/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners and the respondent No.2 were the members of the Committee and due to the misunderstanding arisen between the parties, the aforesaid FIR was got registered by the complainant against the petitioners. Counsel further submits that after the registration of the FIR, the near relatives and the friends intervened and the misunderstanding has been sorted and the matter has been amicably settled orally and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between the parties. Counsel further submits that since the

matter has been amicably settled and nothing further remains to be adjudicated, however, the present FIR is coming as hurdle in the peaceful life of the petitioners and prays that the FIR and all subsequent proceedings may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant is present in Court today and has been identified by the Investigating Officer SI Rinku Bhakar of Police Station Prashant Vihar, Delhi. The respondent No.2 present in person admits the factum of amicable oral settlement with the petitioners and further submits that nothing further remains to be adjudicated between them. She further submits that she has no objection if the present FIR is quashed. Looking into the above facts and circumstances, since the misunderstanding has been sorted out and the matter has been amicably settled orally and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between the parties, to have peace in the life of the parties in present and in near future and to meet the ends of justice, I deem it appropriate to quash the FIR in question and all proceedings arising of the same. Consequently, FIR No.254/2015, under Sections 354/509/34 IPC, registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar, Delhi and all proceedings emanating therefrom are hereby quashed.

The present petition is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly. Copy of this order be given dasti to the parties, as prayed. I.S.MEHTA, J AUGUST 22, 2017 'dc'
