By these petitions, petitioners (accused) have prayed for quashing of the two cross FIRs on the ground that the matter has been settled with the respondent no. 2 (complainants) before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 41h May, 2017. Details of the FIRs are as under:- (a) FIR No. 640/2015 under Sections 323/354/509/506/34 IPC registered at P.S. Kalkaji on the complaint of Sazia Khan (respondent no. 2), complainant in Cr!. M.C. No. 3133/2017 and wife of petitioner Anjuma Khan @ Ahmad in Cr1. M.C. No. 3 132/2017.

(b) FIR No. 649/2015 under Sections 324/506 IPC registered at P.S. Kalkaji on the complaint of Mohd. Salauddin @ Gabbar (respondent no. 2), complainant in Cr!. M.C. No. 3132/2017 and petitioner/accused in Cr1. M.C. No. 3 133/2017.

Mohd. Salauddin @ Gabbar and Sazia Khan are present in Court and have been identified by HC Dharmendra Singh, P.S. Kalkaji. They submit that they have settled their disputes amicably of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and are not willing to pursue their respective FIRs any further. They further submit that both the FIRs may be quashed.

C14) Keeping in view the fact that the disputes arose between the complainants and accused persons with regard to a shop, which resulted in a quarrel which lead to the registration of aforesaid FIRs, and that now accused and respondents have settled their disputes amicably, in the interest of justice both the FIRs, that is, FIR No. 640/2015 under Sections 323/354/509/506/34 IPC and FIR No. 649/2015 under Sections 324/506 IPC both registered at P.S. Kalkaji and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed, in view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and private respondents.

Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. / J.
