The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No.0599/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 of the IPC registered with PS Fatehpur Beri. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that efforts were made to settle the dispute with the complainant. However, the said efforts did not fructify. He further states that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is fully cooperating with the IO.

In addition to the above, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner also points out that a sum of ₹2 lakhs has been voluntarily deposited by the petitioner before the Registry of this Court. He further states that the petitioner would deposit a further sum of ₹5 lakhs and the said amount be

released to the complainant without prejudice to all her rights and contentions.

In view of the aforesaid statements, this Court considers it apposite to accede to the relief as sought in the present petition. This is subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of ₹5 lakhs as volunteered by him. 4.

The petitioner shall be granted anticipatory bail on furnishing a Bail personal Bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- and a surety of an equivalent amount to the satisfaction of the IO concerned.

The petitioner shall continue to cooperate with the IO and provide all material as required by him. The amounts deposited with the Registry shall be released to the complainant. 5.

It is clarified that this is without prejudice to their rights and contentions of all parties.

The petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 7.
