By this petition, the petitioner seeks interim bail on the ground that his wife is suffering and has to undergo surgery. 2.

As per the status report the medical documents filed by the petitioner have been verified and wife of the petitioner is suffering from swelling genitalia vaginal discharge and haemorrhoids and surgery has been fixed for 10th November, 2018. Family of the petitioner comprises of his wife, two sons aged 20 years and 15 years and father who is paralysed. 3.

Learned APP for the State opposes the bail application on the ground that the petitioner is involved in three other cases out of which two are under the NDPS Act.

Considering the fact that in the present case the petitioner is undergoing trial allegedly being in possession of 400 grams of narcotic BAIL APPLN. 2324/2018

substance and prior to this FIR the petitioner has been involved in two other cases under NDPS Act and one under Section 336 IPC registered at PS Ludhiana and the surgery being elective, the elder son of the petitioner being competent to take care of his mother, this Court finds no ground to grant interim bail to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.
