O R D E R

% 14.12.2017 By the present petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to file a special leave petition. A status report has been handed over by learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State as per which the family of the petitioner comprising his mother and brothers is staying as a tenant at H.No. F-175, Phase II, J.J. Colony, Dwarka, New Delhi. The sister of the petitioner is married and is residing in Delhi. As per the nominal roll the appeal of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court on 7th October, 2016 whereafter the petitioner filed the application seeking parole before the competent authority. The same was dismissed for the unsatisfactory conduct as the petitioner was awarded punishment on 7th November, 2016. Since more than one year has elapsed when the punishment was awarded to the petitioner and thereafter the petitioner's conduct in the jail is W.P.(CRL) 2338/2017

satisfactory and verification of the family members of the petitioner has been conducted, this court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of four weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM. Petition is disposed of.

A copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
