The latest nominal roll on record reflects that that the appellant was released from jail on 08.06.2022 after completion of his substantive sentence, and payment of fine in jail vide receipt no. 12060 dated 19.04.2022.

Though on an earlier date the appellant had stated that he wished to press the present appeal on merits; today, he states that, having undergone his entire sentence and having understood the consequences, he does not wish to do so.
