By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C., petitioner is seeking parole for a period of three months on the following grounds:- (i) To prepare and appear in Bachelor of Administrative Law Examinations;

(ii) To appear before Registrar of Marriages, Chandigarh on 19th January, 2017;

(iii) To attend personal contact programmes from 28th January, 2017 to 30th January, 2017; and (iv) To maintain social ties.

Notice. Mr.Sanjay Lao, ASC for the State accepts notice. 3.

In this case the application seeking parole filed by the petitioner was sent to the competent authority only on 7th December, 2016 which has not been disposed of till date.

Learned ASC for the State submits that the application filed by the petitioner seeking parole shall be disposed of expeditiously. 5.

In the given circumstances, the Govt. of NCT of Delhi is directed to dispose of the application/representation of the petitioner within three days from the date of receipt of this order. It is also directed that order shall also be communicated immediately to the Petitioner as well as his counsel through Jail Superintendent.

The writ petition stands disposed of with above directions. 7.

Copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master.
