W.P.(C) 120/2017 Petitioner before this Court is aggrieved by certain inactions on the part of the statutory bodies. His submission is that he has made several representations and taken rounds of the Corporation office but his application seeking sanction of his building plans has not been addressed.

On a specific query put to the learned counsel for petitioner as to when he had approached the SDMC along with his application and the requisite documents he really has no answer.

Be that as it may, noting the plight of the petitioner (petitioner in person) this Court is of the view that the present writ petition be treated as representation to the Department. The petitioner is directed to file his application along with all the requisite documents seeking sanction of his building plan qua property bearing No.D-49, Defence Colony, New Delhi. He shall make the requisite application before the Department within 15 days from today and the same shall be processed and answered in accordance with law by the Department within an outer limit of 8 weeks from the date of the receipt of this order. No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
