% 07.02.2017 By this petition, petitioners have prayed for grant of police protection. It is submitted that petitioners are major and have married of their own free will and without the consent of respondent nos. 4 to 11, who are relatives of petitioner no.2.

Respondent nos. 4 and 5 are parents of petitioner no.2; whereas respondent nos. 6 to 11 are brothers and uncles. Respondent nos. 4 to 6 and 8 to 11 are present in Court.

Respondent no. 7 is stated to be unwell, however, he is being represented through his parents, i.e, respondent nos. 4 and 5.

Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 4 to 11, on instructions, submits that these respondents have not threatened the

petitioners nor have any intention to cause any harm to them in future. Learned ASC for the State submits that beat staff has already been sensitized, inasmuch as, telephone numbers of SHO and beat staff have been provided to the petitioners. It is further submitted that after the last date of hearing, i.e. 2nd January, 2017 petitioners have not made any complaint to the beat staff or the SHO regarding any threat or harassment meted out by them in the hands of respondent nos. 4 to 11. In view of above statement of respondent nos. 4 to 11, present petition has not been pressed and the same is disposed of accordingly. A.K. PATHAK, J.
