The petitioner seeks a direction for provisional release of its goods. The related bills of entries were lodged on 03.12.2016 and 20.12.2016. Copies of those documents are on the record.
The counsel for respondent Custom Authorities submits that the petitioner's request for provisional
release is under consideration and an appropriate order would be made within two weeks.

Counsel for the petitioner has relied upon an order made by this Court in another case related to an earlier consignment (W.P.(C) No. 11861/2016 titled as 'N.N. International Vs. Commissioner of Customs ICD, TKD, New Delhi & Anr.' dated 19.12.2016). Following that decision and in view of the statement made by the respondent, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the materials on record and issue a provisional release order, which shall also take note of the amounts deposited, if any without prejudice, by the petitioner, as well as the order in Alok Packaging Pvt. Ltd. Vs. Commissioner of Customs ICD, TKD, New Delhi & Anr. (W.P.(C) No.10907/2016- decided on 25.11.2016.
