% 01.04.2019 There is no appearance for the petitioner. There was no appearance for the petitioner on the last date of hearing as well. The NDMC, has in their status report, in para 3 (page 61) has stated as under:- "That the records have been checked and found that unauthorized constructions at first floor in the shape of rooms in respect of property no. 366, Gali Robin Cinema, Subzi Mandi, Ghantaghar was booked vide UC file no. 303/C-9/B1/UC/CLZ/2015 dt. 01.12.15 and after following due process of law speaking orders u/s 343(1) of the DMC Act has been passed on 04.01.16 whereby it has been held that though the construction mentioned in the show cause notice is illegal, but

the same is protected [under Delhi Laws (Special Provisions) Act, 2014] from any punitive action till 31.12.2017, since the same in existence before the cutoff date i.e. 08.02.2007. The copy of speaking orders dt. 04.01.16 is annexed herewith as Annexure-A"

In view of the above, the writ petition is accordingly dismissed in default.
