The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C seeks the following prayer: "A. Quash the FIR No. 0149 of 2016 U/S 498A ,406 and 34 IPC P.S Crime (woman ) Cell Nanakpura Special Police Unit for woman and Children Delhi and set aside the proceedings; B. Pass any other or further order(s) that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice."

Learned Standing Counsel for the State alongwith the Investigating Officer, on instructions from the latter, submits that the chargesheet in the present FIR has been filed before the Court of competent jurisdiction. 3.
