O R D E R

% 09.03.2019 Parties have mutually agreed to resolve the subject matter and thereunder, the respondent Insurance company has agreed to pay to the petitioner-claimant a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- ( Rupees Five Lakhs only), over and above the amount payable in terms of the impugned award, towards full and final settlement.

The insurance company has deposited a cheque bearing No. 267911 dated 11.02.2019 amounting to Rs.5,00,000/- drawn on ICICI Bank, in favour of the appellant. The said amount shall be kept in an FDR in a nationalised bank for a period of five years. However, the interest accruing on such amount may be released to the claimant, on monthly or yearly basis, as may be beneficial to him.

The impugned award stands modified to that effect. Consequently, the appeal shall stand disposed of.
