% 07.11.2017 The status report indicates that with respect to the arrest of the son of the petitioner, no entry had been made by the police officer concerned. For the aforesaid lapse, a joint departmental inquiry was initiated against the concerned police officials. On the basis of an inquiry report submitted by the ACP, Gokalpuri sub division, ASI Raghunath has already been placed under suspension.

The then SHO, Harish Kumar has been transferred to some other non-sensitive unit.

The petitioner has also assured the officers of the police station that as and when her son comes, she will produce him before the Police in connection with cases lodged against him.

Thus, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition.

The petition is disposed off accordingly.
