The present petition was filed pursuant to a letter received by the Court from the wife of the deceased Vijay Rao alleging that there was some foul play in respect of her husband's death in judicial custody. 2.

In view of the above, a status report was called for from the Commissioner of Police and further inquest proceedings were also directed to be undertaken.

Mr Avi Singh, learned counsel appearing for the State states that even prior to the said orders, the inquest proceedings had been initiated. The inquest proceedings stand concluded and the inquiry report under Section 176(1A) of the CrPC has been filed. The finding of the inquest report are as under:-

"1. The cause of death is cerebro vascular accident (intra cerebral haemorrhage) as a result of tearing of aneurism middle cerebral artery of brain.

2. Manner of death is natural."

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The same is disposed of.
