W.P.(C) 507/2017 & CM.APPL 2313/2017 W.P.(C) 523/2017 & CM.APPL 2388/2017 The petitioners claim to be vending at Phouwarah Park, near boundary wall of Anglo Arabic Public School, Gate no.3, Ajmeri Gate, Delhi since 2007. Copies of the challans have been placed on record. Counsel for the petitioners

submits that fearing threat of their removal, the petitioners were forced to file writ petitions in the years 2009 and 2011 being W.P.(C).12761/2009 and W.P.(C).2646/2011 respectively. Both the writ petitions were disposed of directing the Zonal Vending Committee to consider the applications of the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondent North Delhi Municipal Corporation enters appearance on an advance copy and submits that the apprehensions of the petitioners are unfounded and mis-placed for the reason that she has instructions that as of now, there is no threat to the petitioners of their removal. The North Delhi Municipal Corporation shall remain bound by the statement made in the Court today.

Accordingly, the writ petitions are disposed of binding the respondents to the statement made by the counsel in the Court today. Needless to say that in case of any change of the circumstances, the petitioners would be at liberty to approach this Court.

The writ petitions stand disposed of.

The applications also stand disposed of.
