% 18.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 114/12 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 to 8 are relatives of petitioner no.1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Devender Kumar of police station Uttam Nagar. Respondent no.2 admits having settled the matter of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She submits that her marriage has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court on 4th June, 2016 divorce by mutual

consent dated 4th June, 2016 (Annexure P-3). She further submits that she has already received the entire settled amount and is not willing to pursue the FIR, any further.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved and respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 114/12 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Uttam Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
