% 23.10.2017 After some arguments, Mr. Pracha submits that the appellant would be satisfied if this court were to expedite the trial which is in progress. Mr. Pracha submits that presently the dates are being given after about two months for examination of the prosecution witnesses. Mr. Sharma, who appears for the respondent, also joins the request that the trial be expedited. In these circumstances, we dispose of the present appeal by directing the Trial Court to expedite the trial. The Trial Court is requested to give shorter dates and if possible cluster of dates may be given at the same time. This is subject to the condition that the counsels representing the accused and the respondent also cooperate and do not take any undue adjournment.

The Trial Court may not grant any undue adjournment to either of the parties.

The appeal stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. VIPIN SANGHI, J P.S. TEJI, J OCTOBER 23, 2017 sr
