% 20.02.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that she has to get her dilapidated house constructed. On a notice being issued, a Status Report has been filed. As per the Status Report, besides the petitioner her son Malkit Singh and one Sukhpal Singh were also convicted in FIR No.31/2010 under Sections 302/201/120B/34 IPC registered at PS Adarsh Nagar, Delhi. Co-convicts Malkit Singh and Sukhpal Singh, who were granted parole, have jumped the same. Malkit Singh is the son of the petitioner.

Further, as per the Status Report, the family of the petitioner also comprises of her husband Baldev Singh, daughter Kamaljit Kaur and brother W.P.(CRL) 2355/2017

Udai Singh with his wife who are residing at C-43, Gurudwara Baba Jaimal Singh, Azadpur, Delhi.

Considering the fact that there are other family members who can look after the repair of the house, this Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.

The petition is dismissed.

A copy of this order communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
