% 20.12.2017 C.M. No.46484/2017 & W.P.(C) 7183/2017 Petitioner has filed the aforenoted application (C.M. No.46484/2017). By virtue of this application it has been brought to the notice of the Court that the Ministry of Defence, Government of India vide a circular dated 30.11.2017 has included wives of defence personnel in Priority VII and Priority IX for the purposes of inter se reservation/preference to the wards of armed personnel by States/UTs for admission to the medical/professional/non-professional courses. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that his case is now covered under Priority VII and Priority IX in terms of the aforenoted circular and this circular which has to be read in continuation of the Department's letter dated 19.5.2017 will entitle him to the admission in the course as has been prayed for by the petitioner in the present

petition.

Learned counsel for petitioner under instructions seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty prayed for and granted by this Court to make an appropriate representation to respondent nos.1 and 2 as is advised.

The aforenoted representations will be decided by the said respondents within an outer time frame of four weeks from the date of the receipt of the representations.

Petition dismissed as withdrawn in the above terms. Date of 25.01.2018 stand cancelled.
