% 30.12.2016 Matter has been listed today to ascertain as to whether the Maintenance Tribunal (North West District), (Under Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007) Kanjhawala, Delhi would be functioning this week.

Mr. Varun Nishal, Advocate for the respondent Nos. 1 & 3 submits that the Tribunal is functional this week and the petitioner may be given some time to seek appropriate remedy as provided by law and they would not take action till then. At this stage, Ms. Jyotsena Gupta, Advocate wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal. In view of the above, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the appropriate authority on or before 16th January, 2017. Accordingly, the petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
