The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing No. 0144/2017, under Sections 323/506/509 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at PS Jyoti Nagar be quashed. 2.
The present petition is founded on the settlement arrived at between the concerned parties and recorded in the memorandum of understanding/settlement agreement dated 10.08.2018. The petitioner and respondent nos. 2 and 3 are present in Court. Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are identified by the Investigating Officer and the petitioner has been identified by his counsel.

Respondent no.2 had lodged the said FIR alleging that the petitioner had misbehaved with him and his wife. He had alleged that the petitioner had used vulgar language and had also teased his wife.

Respondent nos. 2 and 3 now state that they do not wish to pursue with their complaint. It is stated that with the intervention of common friends, the said parties had sorted out all differences and disputes between them.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the FIR bearing No. 0144/2017 is quashed.
