1. The Petitioner has approached this Court seeking the production of his daughter Rukhsana Habib aged 22 years who according to him went missing at about 6 am on 4th September 2018.

2. On receipt of an advance copy of the petition, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Police Station Jamia Nagar, Delhi has filed a status report dated 8th October, 2018 wherein inter alia it is stated that the Petitioner's daughter has married one Sudhir and both of them filed Writ Petition (Civil) No.31213/2018 before the High Court of Allahabad. By order dated 28th September 2018, the said High Court has granted them protection as prayed for by them.

They have been permitted to approach the Senior

Superintendent of Police, Bulandshahr. The copy of the said order has been enclosed with the status report and a copy thereof has been provided to the counsel for the Petitioner.

3. In view of these developments, there is no ground to entertain the present petition on the basis that daughter of the Petitioner is in illegal detention against her will. It will be open to the Petitioner to seek other appropriate remedies as may be available to him in accordance with law.

4. The petition is dismissed.
