1. Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. W.P.(C) 10540/2018

2. The learned counsel for the Respondents points out that there was no specific representation by the Petitioner for extending the benefit of the judgment of Punjab and Haryana High Court dated 9th February 2015 and of the judgment dated 4th August 2016 of this Court in W.P.(C) 6762 to him in the matter of step up of the pay of the Petitioner on par with his batch mates.

3. The Court directs that the present writ petition will be treated by the Respondents as a representations made by the Petitioner and his prayer would be considered in light of the grounds urged by him and the documents enclosed with the writ petition.

4. The decision of the Respondents will be conveyed to the Petitioner not later than eight weeks from today i.e. on or before 1st January 2019. If the Petitioner still aggrieved by such a decision, it will be open to the Petitioner to seek appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
