CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 16.11.2018 It is submitted that financial transaction between petitioners and respondent no.2 had led to registration of FIR No. 326/2015 under Sections 420/468/471/34 IPC at police station Janak Puri, on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with his counsel. He has been identified by SI Badlu Ram of police station Janak Puri. He has no objection in case the present FIR is quashed.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and
respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
