The learned counsel appearing for the respondents states that the Office Memorandum dated 25.07.2018 has been issued, whereby it has been directed that the passport applications of all the persons who had applied for political asylum/refugee status in a foreign country and had been deported, would be processed.
He further states that the application filed by the petitioner would also be considered in accordance with the Office Memorandum dated 25.07.2018 and shall be processed subject to the petitioner complying with all other conditions.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition except to direct that the application filed by the petitioner shall be processed in a time bound manner. It is, accordingly, directed that the said application be processed within a period of eight weeks from today. 5.
