O R D E R

% 11.12.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks bail on the ground that he has to maintain social ties.

Status report has been filed and the parole of the petitioner is opposed on the ground that the petitioner is a Bangladeshi national and the addresses mentioned in the petition do not belong to him. However, as per the status report the sister of the petitioner, namely, Ms. Hariya Begum wife of Shri Bazit Khan is residing as a tenant in house No. 188, Lal Dora Village Rithala, Delhi. She also has a passport bearing No. N4029788. A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner was granted parole for a period of four weeks w.e.f 8th November, 2017 by this Court W.P.(CRL) 3030/2018

which concession he did not misuse and surrendered in time. The petitioner has been convicted for offences punishable under Section 396 read with Section 397 IPC and awarded imprisonment for life. Considering the previous conduct of the petitioner this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner.

It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of 4 weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with two surety bonds of the like amount out of which one surety will be the sister of the petitioner subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court further subject to the condition that petitioner will not leave the National Capital Region of Delhi without intimating to the officer in-charge of the SHO PS Punjabi Bagh. The petitioner will report to the SHO PS Punjabi Bagh on every Monday and Friday at 11:00 A.M. during the period of parole granted to him and the petitioner's sureties would furnish the mobile phone at the time of furnishing the bonds with the learned Trial Court which mobile phones will be kept in an active mode during the period of parole so that the petitioner can be contacted if required.

Petition is disposed of.
