1. Learned counsel for the Decree Holders confirms having received the payment.

2. Mr. Jaideep Tandon, Advocate, who was appointed as the Local Commissioner (LC) by this Court submitted a report to the Court on 31st March,2016, in which inter alia, he made a grievance about the conduct of one of the Judgment Debtors (JD), Ms. Shashi, who had obstructed his executing the commission entrusted to him by the Court. The said JD is present in Court and is represented by her father. It appears that the counsel who was earlier representing the said JD has ceased to appear.

3. It is unfortunate that the LC was put in a difficult situation during the execution of the commission. However, the father of the said JD insists Ex.P. 341/2015

that in the report submitted by the LC, certain portions were added without the knowledge of the JD.

4. The matter having settled between the parties, the Court would not like to comment further except to record that the Court expects parties to respect the work carried out by LCs, who are an extended arm of the Court. The Court would caution Ms. Shashi for the future, if ever such an occasion arises, to abide by Court orders and allow the LCs to carry out the work entrusted to them as it is essential if the rule of law has to prevail.

5. The father of the JD has handed over to the LC in Court today the balance fees which had to be paid to him by the said JD.

6. The execution petition and the application are disposed of. AUGUST 11, 2016 S. MURALIDHAR, J.
