% 07.12.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 287/2017 under Sections 385/506 IPC registered at PS Okhla Industrial Area on the ground that parties have settled the matter.

Considering the fact that the offence punishable under Section 385 IPC resulting to extortion is a serious offence, this Court does not find any ground for quashing the FIR in question.

Petition is dismissed.
