% 25.10.2017 Respondent no. 2 Ms. Rukhsana Idrisi is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ashok of Police Station Patel Nagar. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no. 1 before the Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 23rd April, 2016 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion; therefore, FIR No. 587/2014 under Sections 498-A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Patel Nagar, may be quashed.
Respondent no.2 admits having received entire settlement amount. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4 and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case as detailed above more particularly, the fact that respondent no.2 has settled the
disputes with the petitioners and is not willing to pursue criminal proceedings against them, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 587/2014 under Sections 498-A/34 IPC registered at Police Station Patel Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
