ORDER

% 16.11.2015 In this petition, filed as Public Interest Litigation, it is alleged that the respondents had failed to constitute the statutory appellate authority in terms of Section 22-A of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 and the same is not functional since February, 2014.

2.

To enable the learned counsel for the respondents to get instructions, the matter was adjourned on 31.07.2015.

3.

Ms.Amrita Prakash, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent No.l/UOI has placed before us a copy of the Notification No.G.S.R.835(E) dated 03.11.2015, published in the Gazette of India (extraordinary) dated 04.11.2015, issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs establishing an appellate authority in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 22-A of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, Section 22-A of By:AMULYA

the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959 and Section 22-A of the Company Secretaries Act, 1980.

4.

Since the appellate authority has already been constituted, no further adjudication is necessary in this petition.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
