% 24.11.2017 Petitioner has prayed for quashing of FIR No.802/2007 under sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Tilak Nagar. It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes and, therefore, the aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 had appeared before the Court on 25th August, 2017 and had stated that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and choice, without any threat, pressure and coercion. She had stated that she has no objection if the aforesaid FIR is quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between respondent no.2 and the petitioners voluntarily and statement of respondent no.2 as contained in order dated 25th August, in the interest of justice, the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed.
