CRL.M.C. 5130/2018 Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel accepts notice. She has been identified by SI Vijay Kumar of police station Farash Bazar.

Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion before Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 30.04.2016 and has already received the entire settled amount. She says that her marriage with petitioner no.l has been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 27.07.2018 before Family Court, Shahdara District,

Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. She further says that she has no objection in case FIR No.455/2015 under sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Farash Bazar is quashed against petitioner no.1 and his relatives, i.e., petitioner nos.2-6. Affidavit of respondent no.2 in this regard is on record at Page nos.33 to 35.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K.
