O R D E R

% 30.08.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 7th April, 2016, therefore, FIR No. 1004/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Nihal Vihar on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are relatives of petitioner no.1.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Jai Bhagwan, P.S. Nihal Vihar. She admits having

settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court, West District, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 29th March, 2017. Petitioner no.1 has given a demand draft of `1.5 lacs to the respondent no.2 today in Court, photocopy whereof has been placed on record . Respondent no.2 submits that with this payment entire settled amount stands paid.

Respondent no. 2 further submits that she has no objection in case, FIR is quashed.

Keeping in mind that marriage between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved by mutual consent and respondent no. 2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 1004/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Nihal Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
