% 12.10.2018 The prayer in the petition is for quashing of FIR no. 274/2014 of police station New Friends Colony involving offence punishable under Section 304 A of Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC) on the basis of settlement with the family of the victim.

Having regard to the rulings of this court in Crl.M.C. 2759/2018 Shivam Chauhan & Anr. vs. State & Ors. and Crl.M.C. 4382/2016 Madan Lal vs. State & Ors., both decided on 05.09.2018, the prayer for quashing on such grounds ought not be entertained.

The petition and the application filed therewith are dismissed. R.K.GAUBA, J.
