CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJIV KHANNA HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAVIN CHAWLA

O R D E R

% 21.08.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner, after some hearing submitted that two months time should be granted to the petitioner to find alternative accommodation at Delhi for his family.

Learned counsel for the respondents on instruction, however, states that petitioner has been posted at Jammu & Kashmir and, therefore, entitled to retain accommodation at Delhi.

This being the position, we do not see reason to grant further time. Movement order of the petitioner is dated 29.07.2017 and the petitioner is required to join the new place of posting by 24.08.2017. Counsel submits that the petitioner would require about 10 days to wind up and move to the new place of posting.

Keeping in view of the aforesaid, we accept the limited prayer of the petitioner and extend the joining period by 10 days. With the aforesaid extension of time, the writ petition and pending application are dismissed.
