O R D E R

% 30.10.2017 Respondent nos. 2 to 7 are present in Court along with their counsel and have been identified by SI Arvind Kumar of Police Station Jait Pur. Respondent nos. 2 to 7 submit that petitioners quarrelled with them over the plot of land situated at Village Jait Pur. They beat them up with iron rod and danda.

Respondent nos.3 to 7 sustained simple injuries in the quarrel. Respondent nos. 2 to 7 submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners now, of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. It is noted that a cross FIR No. 465/2013 under

Sections 323/325/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Jait Pur on the complaint of Mohd. Rashid @ Mohd Kamil (petitioner no. 1). Respondent nos. 2 and 4 to 7 were accused in the said FIR. Said matter is stated to have been permitted to be compounded by the trial court, pursuant to the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 4 to 7 before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 13th July, 2017 vide Annexure B. Respondent nos. 2 to 7 say that they are not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the fact that disputes arose between the parties over a plot of land, which resulted in a quarrel leading to registration of the cross FIRs and that petitioner and private respondents have now settled their disputes amicably, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 444/2013 under Sections 308/323/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Jait Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
