O R D E R

% 29.08.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the respondent No.2 has filed a complaint under Section 200 Cr.P.C. before the concerned M.M. against the petitioner for commission of offences under Sections 420/471 IPC. Counsel further submits that on the basis of said complaint, the learned M.M. vide order dated 05.02.2010 has summoned the petitioner for commission of the aforesaid offences. Counsel further submits that subsequently the matter has been amicably settled between the parties before the Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 16.05.2017 and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between them, however, the aforesaid complaint is coming as hurdle in the peaceful life of the petitioner and prays that the summoning order passed by learned M.M. may be quashed.

The respondent No.2/complainant is present in person. She admits that the matter has been amicably settled between them before the Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 16.05.2017 and she has no objection if the summoning order is quashed qua against the petitioner. In these circumstances, since the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and nothing further remains to be adjudicated between them, to have peace in the life of both the parties and to meet the ends of justice, I quash/set aside the summoning order dated 05.02.2010 passed by the Court of learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi. The present petition is allowed and stands disposed of accordingly. A copy of this order be sent to the concerned Trial Court forthwith for information.
