By this application the appellant sought extension of interim bail granted to him vide order dated 15th November, 2017. 2.

A status report has been handed over enclosing a certificate from the office of Medical Superintendent, RG Government PG Ayurvedic College and Hospital, Paprola, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh noting that the petitioner attended the OPD on 22nd November, 2017 with pain in abdomen. He was advised investigation and as per the ultrasound possibility of gallbladder polyp and endoscopy upper GIT revealed hiatus hernia. The clinical features also establish respiratory tract infection. As per the certificate issued by the Doctor, the petitioner has been advised conservative treatment of the disease.

This medical document has been verified by the State and status report has been filed in this regard.

Considering the certificate, the status report, that no date for surgery was fixed, opinion that the patient does not require any special treatment and can be treated in any government hospital, in Delhi and since the treatment for the ailment can be given effectively in Tihar Jail this Court finds no ground to extend the term of bail.

Petition is dismissed.
