% 18.02.2016 The learned counsel for the respondent has brought to court a cheque bearing no.609175 dated 09.02.2016 for Rs.7,86,097/ drawn on Canara bank in favour of the petitioner, which has been handed over to the counsel for the petitioner in court today.
Furthermore, the learned counsel for the respondent undertakes, on instructions, of Mr. Sushant Mehra, the authorised representative of the respondent to pay a further sum of Rs.70,000/- towards interest within six weeks from today. An undertaking is also given on behalf of the respondent both by its counsel as well as its authorised representative that the cheque handed over to the counsel for the petitioner will be good for payment. The captioned petition and the pending applications are disposed of, in the aforesaid terms.
